Well, I finally broke down and bought the Angry Birds Star Wars board game for my niece and nephew over the weekend. I'll tell ya, I'm sort of ambivalent about that thing. I should've known it was going to be a pain in the neck when I noticed the word "Jenga" and the phrase "Adult Assembly Required." It was all I could do to maintain stability while we were putting the darn thing together. I'm not at all sure what it says about me but my six year old niece was a great assistant. Mainly due to the fact that she is quite a bit more patient than her uncle. I guess the high point was watching my nephew have a thermonuclear class-five meltdown. I guess you could say he had had an entire week to focus and dwell on what it was going to be like to kill Darth Vader Pig and his minions and didn't care for his big sister interrupting the scenario. It worked out in the end, he and I talked it through and his sister awesomely gave in and let him have his way. Pretty cool stuff.
