Just sitting here listening to my neighbor venting some stress via some extremely enthusiastic drumming...two things that are really impressive about that. 1. The kid is ten years old, I highly doubt he's THAT stressed and 2. it's the house across the street so he's at least 100 feet away
I hate feeling like someone's "project"...I know this particular person, or at least I hope this particular person is interested in me for positive reasons and not just to drum up juicy tidbits to share around. I'll just let her run her mouth and fill in the blanks cause lord knows there's no reason for me to give her anything at all. We'll see I suppose. If nothing else it'll be uncomfortably interesting to see how this all goes. I'll just go about my business while she goes about her's.
This movie ended up being quite a bit more enjoyable than I thought it was going to be at first. At ~90 minutes it was a nice surprise at how much character development this movie was able to pack in. It was a fairly bland script inn my opinion but the two main actors and the rapport that their characters were able to develop more than made up for it. There's a little plot twist with right around fifteen minutes left that's really pretty predictable when you consider the topic being addressed and it really sort of ground into the end credits from that point. I'm not sure how or if I would've ended it any differently but I think it would have benefited from a little more creativity at the end. The subject material is kind of fringe so I think they could've gotten a little bit more carried away. In any event, here's the IMDB link to it. It'll give you some more info on it. Well, I think I'll follow this up with some Taxi Driver. Kind of keep the insane assassin theme going for the evening.
(Re)realized the whole rock concert atmosphere at church, with 2,000 of my closest friends, doesn't do much for me. Think the biggest part of it was getting blasted right in the eyes with that spotlight. Not pleasant at all. On the "positive" side I realized agoraphobia and ADD can be triggered simultaneously.
Darth Vader Easter Eggs are kinda weird when you think about it. Might be mixing metaphors a little too much.
Angry Birds: The Board Game
Thinking about buying it to see how they make the transition from phone game to 3D. Not to mention its my 4 yr old nephew's favorite game ever and I'd love to see how he would react to it...
